Studio Design: Dining Room

We were challenged by top engineer Bob Bullock (Shania Twain) to design a monitor system in a small, unused dining room in his home primarily so that he could reference his studio mixes (See Home Studio Epiphany). Our instructions were to spend as little money as possible since he originally didn’t expect much or take the room very seriously in spite of our boast that we could give him an impressive system.

In the end he got far more than he expected and says he is "spoiled" by the dramatic performance of the PhantomFocus System™ Four – Near Field. Bob, whose first love is working on large SSL and Neve consoles in commercial studios, has since started mixing his lower budget projects in "The Dining Room " and is presently upgrading all the components.
